Noah AbrahamseBio Noah Abrahamse is an Alto Saxophonist, Band Leader, and Composer/Arranger based in Toronto, Canada. Noah specializes in Latin and Jazz music and has been hailed by legends such as Hilario Duran, Laura Fernandez and Joaquin Nunez Hidalgo.
Noah is – first – a superb alto saxophonist. His tone is full-blooded. Each solo is vibrantly alive, there is a real imagination and colour, with echoes of modal harmony that might remind you of Mr Paquito D'Rivera. Plus, Mr Abrahamse’s solo is a deliciously zesty folk-dance scherzo . - Latin Jazz Network Noah received his bachelors in music performance from Humber College and was a two-time recipient of the Kenny McLean Memorial Scholarship during his years studying for showing "a pattern of musical passion, creativity, and leadership," Through Hilario Duran, Noah learned to lead his own band, "The Mumbo Jumbo Combo," As well as arrange and compose.
